Just found this excellent thread. I have a small collection of the old Minifig Mythical Earth figures, a largish collection of the GW LOTR models that are used mainly by our grandchildren and several boxes of historical figures that have been put aside over many years for just this sort of army. This has inspired me to blend Greek Hoplites, Zulus, Mahdists, Arabs and Dark Age figures together. Thanks for the inspiration and the article. Great work!
Thank you! I an glad you enjoyed it and it's great to get such positive feedback. I have always wanted to see the Haradrim with their scarlet tunica brass armour and spiked yellow and balck shields,how they missed such an obvious descriptio for the films is beyond me
