World War of the Roses day, what a brilliant idea and what a fantastic response! Some great bat reps and some lovely figures on various sites across social media.
Mine own forces are somewhat inadequate to the occasion as yet, not being able to raise enough to take the field. However such as they are, Sir Henry Holland, did commsion an arraiy in honour of the event. Figures are mostly Perry with the occasional Frostgrave or Oathmark head for character and Front Rank. Standards are all free hand
And there they did arraiy on the outskirts of the village of Numpty on the Green which legend has it was scratch built from bits o' wood and the box from a bottle of Glenlivet

Some Frostgrave heads for character, Perry miniatures are great and certainly affordable but somewhat bland of visage

Talbot's standard bearer attended the muster, but the upstart Viscount L'Isle
himself was nowhere to be seen, probably intsalling himself in Berkeley
castle while its owner was temporarily absent. Or maybe he has not been painted yet!

I couldn't resist having ago at this, but it was too much for one sitting, even my eyes got cramp!
